Packaging
This rebranding brief was much tougher than we imagined. The Loo With a View toilet seat, is a niche product which sells very well. In the past the product had been seen as a novelty item, but as Loo With a View was discovering, their product was fitting into the desirable category for many customers.
With a price range of $120 to $150 they are up to seven times more expensive than plastic seats. The product, however you viewed the toilet seat designs were not a novelty item. Our objective was to design premium looking homeware packaging that successfully complimented each and every toilet seat. Here in-lined the problem. The product range varies from green frogs to sand and shells to sharks to jelly beans to more simplistic one colour designs, covering every colour you could think of.
Our solution was to keep the corporate colours as neutral as possible. Grey and cyan proved to be a great combination. They reacted well with the vast toilet seat range, the key was to keep the area immediately around the packaging window in grey. This formed a frame that did not clash with the product colours or design.
