Folio Brickworks Portable Display

Sometimes you receive briefs that start with the objectives less about the design and more about practical matters. This project was exactly that, the brief was to create a portable display that was big enough to grab attention.  Able to promote a number of projects from a variety of the Brickworks brands. The finished display design should be easy to set up and light to carry and oh, by the way we need it to be completed and delivered to Cairns in a week.

Ok, so where do you start?  How 'bout a product that is strong but extremely light... coreflute!  Now all we need is a design to meet the other objectives.  We got to work very quickly and after a few sketches and a miniature mock-up we had a display that worked.  Half a day later we had a finished design ready to go to our signwriters to be printed.  Once the large format printing started we began to design a portable box with a handle to carry all of the display.  The finished product weighed 12kgs and was extremely easy to carry, perfect for our female clients that pleaded not to make it too heavy.

So did we make our deadline? yes we did.
