Website Upgrade

Info

Client: CEA Australia

The website upgrade was part of the CEA Australia corporate identity rebranding. This rebranding process started with an evolution of the logo.  The colours and general shape remained the same.  The website became more vibrant with imagery and the general navigation of the site was simplified. The design style of the site was heavily influenced by the style Brown Ink developed for the CEA Australia corporate publication.

Quite often clients want their website to look just like their print material, but in many cases this is not achievable. They are completely different mediums, print is very much what you see is what you get, but websites have two extra elements to consider, sound and motion.  Websites are interactive and can offer so much more than print.  While we aim to link the look and feel across all corporate communication, this should be done with common sense not stringent ill advised guidelines.  To inhibit a mediums capability is not doing your brand or your customers any favours. In this case CEA Australia were open to the styles interpretation and didn't feel they had made any sacrifices.
