La Escandella Press Advertising
The objective of these advertisements was to make a statement both visually and with the product. These adverts by their very nature will stand out because they are so different to what we have come to expect in building industry publications. The dancing lady in particular created a bit of a stir, so much so we ended up putting a top on her. For your benefit we have kept the topless version, the original and in our opinion the best.
Terracotta Campaign
Challenge the Consensus campaign was about showing contemporary use of terracotta tiles.
Near Missing Reporting
Masterfood asked Brown Ink to provide an internal advertising campaign to educate its employees about reporting Near Misses in the workplace. The campaign involved eye catching images and thought provoking copy writing to convey the message. Certain scenarios were selected to help the employer think not only about their own safety but the impact the injury would have on his/her family life. The campaign was a success with an awareness of 100% and near miss reporting going up nearly 300%.
Visit Ballarat Campaign
One claim to fame Ballarat has is its distinct four seasons, this campaign was based on the attributes each season contained. The messages in these advertisements exposed some myths about the Ballarat summer and winter. While also poking fun at our own frailties in a positive manner. The messages were simple and not expected, the objective was to get viewer to a closer look and the break down their perceptions of Ballarat. The theme was extended into many other areas, like activities, shopping etc.
Terracade Advertising
The campaign for the Terracade Facade System, was aimed at architects and builders. Being a new product we needed to show how the products looked in actual scenarios. The product use was really only limited to the imagination of the architect, therefore it could be used in some very artistic ways. The tiles (600 x 300mm) in size are removable if damaged and are self cleaning making them ideal for commercial buildings and public spaces.
Riviera Advertising
The brief was to promote the "Stain Resistant" qualities of the Riviera Freedom Clay paver. For clay pavers this was a ground breaking development and warranted a national campaign with the advertisements appearing in over 50 different publications.
