During the course of a day I can receive up to 150 spam emails. These are deposited directly into my spam filter. One a week I have a quick look at the spam emails just before I delete them. Today I noticed a piece of spam with the subject heading. "Your EFTPS Tax Payment has been reejcted. Report ID: 01037687" Note the spelling mistake, this was to be the start of things to come. Being curious I clicked to see what the email contained.
The following screen capture is what I saw. I had a read and quickly realised it was definitely spam. The spelling mistakes were a big give away. With nineteen spelling mistakes in the first two paragraphs, it did make me laugh. Really if you are going to try and rip people off perhaps run a quick spell check. Where is the effort, dedication and commitment? This email is giving crims a bad name. Which is a good thing for the gullible out there.
